DADAP Principal Investigator Tomas Olsson participated in a key series of meetings in Riga, Latvia, organized within the framework of the Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) Partnership. The meetings brought together European stakeholders to review progress across funded healthcare research projects, discuss strategic priorities, and align on to the next phase of the Partnership’s work.
THCS is a European partnership co-funded under Horizon Europe and designed to support the transformation of health and care systems through research, innovation, capacity building, dissemination, and networking. Its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) define the Partnership’s framework and long-term vision: to support high-quality, fairly accessible, sustainable, efficient, resilient, and inclusive health and care systems for all.
Partners in Riga reviewed progress, discussed strategic priorities, and prepared the next stage of implementation. The same meeting also brought together the funded projects for a midterm review, providing an opportunity to share progress, discuss impact, and explore pathways for future health and care systems transformation.
For DADAP, participation in such European-level meetings is important for staying connected to wider developments in digital health, research collaboration, and capacity-building across health systems. The exchange of ideas and experiences in Riga reflects the value of shared learning and cross-border cooperation in shaping the future of health and care innovation.
